Easier than ever before
We’ve made some exciting changes to You Shop, making the process smoother and easier than ever before. Find out what's new and what's changed below.
Changes to You Shop
The new You Shop platform brings gives you access to more self-service tools, and you can view images to better track your parcel during its journey, for greater peace of mind. We’ve simplified the consolidation process of multiple parcel deliveries. You can also use the new You Shop portal on your mobile when you’re on the go.
There are some changes to our products we offer within You Shop.
Individual parcels: no changes are being made to the sending of individua items.
Repack: Our repack service will no longer automatically apply to eligible parcels. You will be able to see whether your parcel is eligible to repack on the ‘My parcels’ page.
If your parcel is eligible to repack, you can request this within the portal. If your parcel is not eligible to repack, details are provided advising why your parcel was not suitable for repacking. Our repack service has a different delivery rate, so you’re in control of any repacking decisions that might decrease or increase your delivery price.
Consolidation: The maximum number of parcels eligible for consolidation will decrease from 10 parcels to 3 parcels. However, during this process we will remove the existing packaging, instead of placing the boxes into boxes. This should save some volumetric weight, saving you additional delivery costs where possible. We’ve made this decision because we want to reduce the risk of damaging your contents during their journey. By removing the existing packaging in this process, we need to reduce the total parcels for consolidation to ensure their stability during travel.
Yes, we are introducing some changes to our pricing that help make your You Shop experience smoother and easier. These changes are:
- Minimum charge will increase to 1 kg from 500g.
- Individual, repack and consolidated parcels will be charged at the 'kg' rate in 500g increments, but the base rate will be removed.
- A Dangerous Good (DG) surcharge of NZ$130 is applicable to all DG parcels.
- A handling fee of NZ$8.50 + GST for Returns and redirection will be applied.
- If applicable, Rural delivery charges will be applied to rural delivery addresses.

You can use You Shop to shop your favourite goodies from online stores in countries that deliver to the United States (US), and the United Kingdom (UK). Simply provide your personalised US or UK You Shop delivery address when checking out, and we will arrange transporting your online shopping to you in New Zealand.
We are looking at opportunities to extend our services to serve stores from other countries; watch this space!
No, unfortunately some online stores do not accept New Zealand credit or debit cards. We do not place any limit on merchants you can shop from, but you will need to ensure the items you purchase are not prohibited items, and do not have a value over NZ$2,000 for items sent to our USA warehouse or NZ$1,400 for items sent to our UK warehouse.
For our Standard service by air, dispatch days are twice every week from both the US and the UK. For our Economy service by sea, dispatches are monthly.
There are some items that are classed as Dangerous Goods (DGs) that are eligible to send via You Shop US, subject to our terms and conditions. However, we require some extra information when sending these kinds of items. A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) must be provided for all DGs, and any DG items are subject to being approved before we can arrange shipment. All DG items must be shipped using our Economy delivery service by sea. A DG charge applies.
No, we are unable to transfer your parcel between the two portals. Once a parcel is created in one portal, it cannot be transferred.
